EGON VON NEINDORFF
, born on Nov 1st 1923 in Döbeln, Saxony, was the son of an officer. He always saw himself as a "Servant of the Art of Classical Riding".

In 1949 he arrived with his horses in the city of Karlsruhe and founded a Riding and Training School, the "Reitinstitut", which was to receive world recognition through the years.

Since 1954, the Institute has been host for countless festive evenings and public performances, inspiring to experts as well as an enthusiastic laymen audience.

In 1991 he founded the "EGON-VON-NEINDORFF-STIFTUNG" (foundation), which was later joined by the State of Baden-Württemberg and the city of Karlsruhe. Its goal is the preservation of Classical Dressage up to the level of High School by training horses and talented riders along with special efforts in supporting younger riders.

After the passing away of the founder in May 2004, the Riding Institute of the foundation devoted itself to this mission.
